  • Malone Mitchell founded Riata Management, LLC in 2005 and Longfellow Energy, LP in 2006; prior to that, he founded Riata Energy (now SandRidge Energy) in 1984. He served as Operations Manager at Riata Energy until 1989 when he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, which he held until June, 2006. During this period, Riata grew from $500 to become one of the largest privately held energy companies and the largest privately held land driller in the US and had significant midstream and tertiary oil production operations. Until December 2006, Mr. Mitchell held the position of President and COO, when he decided to resign from daily management in the company. Prior to his involvement with Riata Energy, he worked in the oil field services industry and was employed in his family’s ranching and aviation businesses. He is also actively involved in the venture capital and agriculture business. Mr. Mitchell received a B.S. degree from Oklahoma State University in 1983.

  • Noah is a Partner with Longfellow Energy, LP. He provides leadership company-wide, with an emphasis on capital allocation and corporate strategy. Mr. Mitchell also currently serves as a Director of TransAtlantic Petroleum, LLC.

    Mr. Mitchell formerly served as the Director of Business Development for Viking Services, a leading EMEA oilfield service company. He was also the Founder of Viking Coil Tubing, where he served as the company’s President prior to its sale to Warburg Pincus. Mr. Mitchell holds a B.S. degree from Southern Methodist University.

  • Todd Dutton joined Longfellow Energy as President in 2007. His primary responsibilities include organizing the origination and development of company projects. Mr. Dutton brings to this position 40+ years of experience as a Landman, Land Manager, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has worked the Mid-Continent and Texas regions, with emphasis on exploration land activities, exploration economics, and prospect and producing property evaluation. Prior to joining Longfellow Energy, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Riata Energy, Inc. from 2005 to 2006. Mr. Dutton also has tenure in various management positions through Texas Pacific Oil Company, Coquina Oil Corporation, and BEREXCO INC. Mr. Dutton received a B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma in 1977. He has been certified by the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) as a Certified Professional Landman.

  • James Follis joined Longfellow Energy in 2007. He was previously employed with Riata Energy from 1989 to 2007. He joined Riata Energy in 1989 as a Production Operator. He served as Plant Operations Manager from 1990 to 1992, managing the operations in Texas and Oklahoma. In 1992 he became responsible for all field operations including the drilling, completion, production, compression and pipelines in the Pakenham Field of West Texas, as well as operations in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, South Texas and Kentucky. He assumed the position of Vice President of Operations in 2000. From 2004 to 2005 he served as Vice President of Lariat Services. In 2005 he reassumed the position of Vice President of Operations for Riata Energy and was primarily responsible for all drilling activities in the Ouachita Overthrust of the Pinion Field in West Texas, drilling more than 300 wells.

  • David Mitchell joined Longfellow Energy in 2016 as Engineering Advisor with the goals of optimizing completion and stimulation design to maximizing reservoir recovery and reducing project breakeven costs. Since that time he has held positions as Operations Manager and later VP Engineering.

    Prior to joining Longfellow Energy, David spent the first 8-years of his career with Talisman Energy, where he held various positions in Production, Midstream, Development, and Completions Engineering throughout NE British Columbia, West Central Alberta, Calgary, New York, and Pennsylvania. In 2013, David moved to TransAtlantic Petroleum as Sr. Operations Engineer & Production Optimization Specialist over the SE Turkey operating region. In 2017 he was later promoted to VP Engineering for TransAtlantic.

    David holds a BASC. (Engineering) from the University of British Columbia, and is a registered Professional Engineer (Alberta).

  • Javier Gonzalez was appointed Vice President, Production in January 2022. Mr. Gonzalez's primary responsibilities are to ensure achievement of the company production targets, increase the production capacity by improving the fields performance whilst minimizing the operational expenses operating the company oil and gas assets in a profitable and optimal manner. He was previously appointed Operation Manager in Turkey responsible for the safe and efficient operation and development of TransAtlantic Petroleum's assets in Turkey, Bulgaria, and the region as well as manage the local technical teams

    Prior to joining Longfellow Energy, Mr. Gonzalez served in several managerial and technical roles in Drilling, Completion, and Production Operations at Occidental Petroleum, Shell E&P, and Schlumberger. He has worked in the Permian Basin, South Texas, Venezuela, Mexico, Turkey, Russia, and the Gulf of Mexico.

    Mr. Gonzalez holds a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Houston. He is also an active member of the SPE.

  • Ryan Reynolds joined Longfellow Energy in 2017. He currently oversees various land aspects of the Company’s’ projects in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. His primary responsibilities include in-house land work and being in direct contact with mineral and land owners to facilitate operations in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.

    Prior to joining Longfellow Energy, he was previously employed with Blue Baron Energy from 2011 to 2017 working as a Landman in areas of Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Louisiana.

    Mr. Reynolds received a B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2011 and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and Yong Professionals in Energy (YPE).
