Malone Mitchell, 3rd - Partner, Managing Member

Mr. Mitchell founded Riata Management, LLC in 2005 and Longfellow Energy, LP in 2006; prior to that, he founded Riata Energy (now SandRidge Energy) in 1984. He served as Operations Manager at Riata Energy until 1989 when he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, which he held until June, 2006. During this period, Riata grew from $500 to become one of the largest privately held energy companies and the largest privately held land driller in the US and had significant midstream and tertiary oil production operations. Until December 2006, Mr. Mitchell held the position of President and COO, when he decided to resign from daily management in the company. Prior to his involvement with Riata Energy, he worked in the oil field services industry and was employed in his family’s ranching and aviation businesses. Mr. Mitchell graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Mitchell is also actively involved in the venture capital and agriculture business.

Todd C. Dutton - President

Mr. Dutton joined Longfellow Energy in January 2007. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer for Riata Energy from June 2005 to December 2006. He has over 29 years of experience as a Landman, Land Manager, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with Texas Pacific Oil Company, Coquina Oil Corporation, BEREXCO INC. and Riata Energy. He has worked the Mid-Continent and Texas regions with emphasis on exploration land activities, exploration economics and prospect and producing property evaluation. Mr. Dutton earned his BBA in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma in 1977. He holds a certification from the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) as a Certified Professional Landman.

James Follis - Vice President, Operations

Prior to joining Longfellow Energy, Mr. Follis was employed by Riata Energy. He joined Riata Energy in 1989 as a Production Operator; he served as Plant Operations Manager from 1990 - 1992 managing the operations in Texas and Oklahoma for Riata Energy. In 1992 he became responsible for all field operations including the drilling, completion, production, compression and pipelines in the Pakenham Field of West Texas, as well as operations in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, South Texas and Kentucky. He assumed the position of Vice President of Operations in 2000 and he served as Vice President of Lariat Services from 2004 to 2005. In 2005 he reassumed the position of Vice President of Operations for Riata Energy and was primarily responsible for all drilling activities in the Ouachita Overthrust of the Pinion Field in West Texas, drilling more than 300 wells.

Mark Rinehart - Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Rinehart joined Longfellow Energy in January 2007. He was previously the Production Manager for Riata Energy from September 2003 to December 2006. His responsibilities include directing the company’s completion and production engineering operations along with acquisition and divestiture projects. He obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University in 1980. His 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry include drilling, production, compression, gathering and SCADA systems. He was previously with Phillips Petroleum and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.

Jenny Robins - Vice President, Engineering

Ms. Robins joined Longfellow Energy in February 2007. She was previously employed by NEG as the Vice President, Non-Operated Properties and Manager of Reservoir Engineering from 2004 to 2007; from 2001 to 2004 she served as Manager, Reservoir Engineering. From 1997 until 2000, Ms. Robins was Director of Capital Budgeting for Pioneer Natural Resources, Inc. From 1995 to 1997 she was Manager of Reservoir Engineering for Pioneer Natural Resources, Inc. and Mesa Petroleum. From 1983 to 1995, she held various engineering and management positions with Arco Oil and Gas and Vastar Resources. Ms. Robins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1983.

Pat Garrard - Senior Vice President, Land

Mr. Garrard joined Longfellow Energy in January 2007 as the Vice President of Land. He was previously the Manager, Land and Acquisitions for Riata Energy from October 2002 to December 2006. He has over 29 years experience as a Landman with Gulf Oil Corporation, Maddox Energy, J. M. Huber Corporation, BP Amoco and as an independent Landman. He has worked the Gulf Coast, East Texas, Permian Basin, Mid-Continent and Barnett-Shale regions. Mr. Garrard earned a B.A. (Government) from Texas Tech in 1972 and his B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas-Austin in 1976. He holds certifications from the American Association of Professional Landmen (A.A.P.L.) as a Certified Professional Landman and Environmental Site Assessor. He currently is the Panhandle Landman Association's regional director to A.A.P.L., the national organization of landmen.

John Albert - Vice President, Land

Mr. Albert joined Longfellow Energy in January 2007. He was previously a Landman for Riata Energy from February 2006 to December 2006. Mr. Albert graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001, with a B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management. He started his career in Houston, Texas in 2002 as a Landman for Chevron U.S.A. Inc., managing Chevron’s On-Shore Assets. Currently John manages various prospects in Texas and Oklahoma for Longfellow Energy.

Matt Strickler - Vice President, Land

Prior to joining Longfellow Energy in 2007, Mr. Strickler served as a Landman for Riata Energy, Inc. from June 2003 to December of 2006. He earned a B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management from Texas Tech University in 2003. He has served as Treasurer (2004-2005) and Vice President (2005-2006) of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen and is a member of their scholarship committee.

Gene Pait - Exploration Geologist

Mr. Pait joined Longfellow Energy in January 2007. He was previously the Chief Geologist for Riata Energy from 1993 to 2006. His responsibilities include identifying and implementing new exploration plays, prospect generation and location development as well as geological evaluation of new acquisitions. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1978 with a B.A. in Geology and an M.S. in Geology in 1981. His experience spans 26 years and has included work with Tenneco Oil Co, Santa Fe Minerals, Equitable Resources and Seagull Midcon.

Caty Albert - Exploration Geologist

Mrs. Albert joined Longfellow Energy in January 2007. She was previously a Geologist for Riata Energy from February 2006 to December 2006. Her responsibilities include prospect generation and evaluation of the various geology projects for Longfellow Energy. She obtained a B.S. in Geology in 1995 and a M.S. in Geology in 1999 from Texas A&M University. She has 8 years of domestic onshore experience in multiple basins and was previously with Texaco and Chevron. She is a member of AAPG and is a licensed Texas Professional Geoscientist.

F. Wayne Campbell – Exploration Geologist

Mr. Campbell joined Longfellow Energy in March 2007. He previously served as NEG’s Vice President, Exploration from February 2006 to February 2007. Mr. Campbell was appointed Vice President, Exploration for National Energy Group in October 2001. Effective with the August 1996 merger with Alexander Energy Corporation, he was appointed Chief Geologist of National Energy Group. Previously, from 1980 until the merger, he was Chief Geologist for Alexander Energy Corporation. From 1976 until 1980, he served as Senior Geologist for the Northern Division of Reserve Oil, Inc. Mr. Campbell earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University. He is certified as a petroleum geologist by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the States of Arkansas and Texas.
